Situated on the Essex/Suffolk border, Brantham Bowls Club provides a very friendly (and competitive!) environment for its members. During the summer season league matches and friendlies are played in both counties. There are also many club competitions in which members can participate. The club, which was founded in 1935, is affiliated to Brantham Leisure Centre (BLC). In 2010 the club celebrates its 75th anniversary! The club has a qualified bowls coach and a qualifed umpire. In 2007 the club had the Men’s Suffolk President and also the Ladies’ Suffolk EBF President - a unique ‘double’.
